Photos I Admire #2

This candid photo was taken by Elizabeth Miranda at a park in Gilbert Arizona.

Reasons why I want to take pictures like this:
1-Its focused. That is, its focused on the foreground. This places a very soft focus on the subjects in the picture. This absolutely captures the entire feeling of the picture.
2-Its overexposed. Normally, you wouldn't want to overexpose a photo. But in this case, the overexposure comes from the light on the leaves. Causing them to lose detail in spite of being the focus. However, this draws the viewers attention back to the subjects.
3-The rule of thirds. The branch in focus draws (quite exactly) a line at the bottom third of the photo. This looks totally awesome. The subjects of the picture also follow the rule of thirds.
4-Analogous colors. The yellow in the leaves complement very nicely with the grass. As it so happens, the subjects are wearing analogous colors as well, giving the photo a completed look.
5-Spacing. As far as "empty space" is concerned, there really isn't much of it in spite of the fact that this picture is very much zoomed out.

Overall, I absolutely love this picture.

Still working to get there.
